Local Gas Prices Fall Below $3

(Undated) – Gas prices continue to fall nationwide. The current national average for a gallon of regular unleaded has fallen to $3.13 a gallon, down seven cents from Friday. Here in Illinois, the statewide average has fallen to $3.25 a gallon, down six cents from Friday. Several local and area stations even have gas below the $3 mark, hovering around $2.98 a gallon at both Casey’s and Huck’s. In Indiana, the price has fallen to $2.89 a gallon, down a nickel from Friday. Oklahoma continues to have the cheapest gas in the nation at $2.55 a gallon. California drivers are paying a statewide average of $4.67 a gallon.
