(Undated) — The holiday season can be stressful for any number of reasons but “cyber security” doesn’t have to be one of them. IRS Agent, Lauren Winebrenner, says it’s important to be protective of your personal and financial information online.
Winebrenner says to stay safe you should only do shopping via trusted websites, keep the security programs on all of your devices up to date, not just your computer, and monitor your child’s online activity. The IRS has a number of additional security tips available at IRS.gov.
