(Olney) – The Illinois State Police are continuing the investigation into the murder of thirty-three-year-old Nicole Pedigo of Olney. The ISP released her identity yesterday as well as some new details surrounding the murder investigation. According to the ISP, the incident occurred last Sunday in the twenty-four-hundred block of East Main Street in Olney. In yesterday’s release, the ISP said “It is believed there are no safety concerns to the community regarding this incident.” Additionally, they say “to protect the integrity of the investigation, no further information is being released at this time.” Anyone with information is asked to contact ISP Zone 8 by phone at (217) 342-7881.
