(Undated) — Ameren is encouraging more people to get a free Google Nest Thermostat. The Wi-Fi-connected thermostats are being given away to customers for free. Ameren says the advantage of having a Google Nest Thermostat is that it allows users to adjust their heating and cooling at their home via their Smartphone. This allows customers to regulate the heating and cooling of their home from anywhere they are connected to Wi-Fi. They say having this much control over your thermostat will provide Ameren customers the chance to adjust heating and cooling to maximize savings.
