(Oblong) – The Oblong Fire Department has announced the numbers from this year’s Toys for Kids effort. According Oblong Mayor, Teresa Fielder, speaking on behalf of the Oblong Volunteer Firefighters Association, the OFD “Toys for Kids Program” was able to help ninety-two children this year. She says, thanks to the generous donations from the community, Oblong Volunteer Firefighters were able to spend around $130 per child.
