Gas Prices Tick Back Up

(Undated) – Gas prices are trending higher following a brief New Year’s decline. The current national average is three cents higher than Tuesday at $3.10 a gallon. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is once again above the three-dollar mark at $3.04 a gallon. In Indiana, the statewide average is $2.77 a gallon, three cents lower than Tuesday. Several states continue to have prices below three dollars a gallon with the cheapest statewide average in Oklahoma, where drivers are paying $2.54 a gallon. California has the highest prices at $4.69 a gallon.
