Oblong to Host Enterprise Zone Informational Meeting

(Oblong) – Oblong residents are invited to an upcoming informational presentation. According to Oblong Mayor, Teresa Fielder, Crawford County Development Association Director, Resa Shaner, and Crawford County Board Chairman, Bill Burke, will host the informational meeting for the Oblong community to explain the upcoming expansion of the Crawford County Enterprise Zone. This will include a Residential and Commercial expansion. They will explain what the Enterprise Zone is, plus how it can benefit and affect Oblong homeowners, business owners, and taxing bodies. There will be a Q and A period. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend. The meeting will be held Thursday, January 25th at 5 p.m. in the Activity Room of the Oblong Municipal Building.
