Red Cross “Sounding the Alarm” for Blood Donations

By Tony Collins Feb 9, 2024 | 6:40 AM
(Undated) – A nationwide blood shortage continues and the Red Cross is “sounding the alarm.” The agency is putting out a call for blood donors, as the plea for help about a month ago came right before much of the country got hit with inclement weather that resulted in the cancelation of blood drives from coast to coast. American Red Cross Representative, Sharon Watson, says it was a bad January for them.
You can find a list of area blood drives at redcrossblood.org.
