(Robinson) – The RHS Lady Maroons made history last night by capturing the first Sectional Championship in the history of the girl’s program. Robinson hung on for the 59-55 win over Teutopolis. Marisa Zane led the Lady Maroons with twenty-five points. Katelyn Jones added seventeen and Addy O’Dell finished the night with twelve. With the win, the girls improved to 27-5 on the season. They are set to play Peotone Monday in the “Elite Eight” in Tolono. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. Pregame on 101.7 WTYE and WTYEfm.com is set for around 6:45 p.m.
