(Undated) – Gas prices are trending slightly lower to start the week. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.25, down three cents from Friday. Here in Illinois, the price per gallon fell two cents over the weekend to $3.47. Across the river in Indiana, the statewide average is $3.18 a gallon, four cents lower than Friday. Drivers in Oklahoma continue to enjoy the lowest statewide average in the nation at $2.80 a gallon. Drivers in California are paying the most with an average of $4.61 a gallon.
