IECC Schools See 3% Decline in Enrollment District Wide

(Undated) – The IECC schools are seeing a slight decline in enrollment district-wide. During the recent IECC Board of Trustees meeting in Fairfield, IECC Chancellor, Dr. Ryan Gower, reported a three-percent drop in enrollment district-wide. Gower says while enrollment numbers may be down, the IECC schools continue to see a higher percentage of students attend classes. During last week’s meeting, Gower spoke about his time at the University of Illinois and said U of I would see only around a third of students who were accepted attend a class on campus. At IECC, the percentage of applicants who attend classes on campus is around 97%.
