(Sullivan, IN) – The City of Sullivan, Indiana is gearing up for an “open house” for the new Sullivan County Correctional Facility. Sullivan County Sheriff, Jason Bobbitt, and the Sullivan County Commissioner invite the public to attend the open house this Saturday, March 16th. The open house will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Eastern time. Groundbreaking for the new facility was held back in June of 2022. The new correctional facility was needed as a result of overcrowding at the old jail.
