(Undated) – The state of Illinois observed “Severe Weather Preparedness Week” last week and now it’s Indiana’s turn. This is “Severe Weather Preparedness Week in Indiana.” On Tuesday, a statewide tornado drill will be conducted as severe weather scenarios start to increase during this time of year. Tomorrow’s drill is set to begin around 10:15 a.m. Eastern. Authorities say some tests may include the sounding of tornado sirens. Hoosiers are encouraged to discuss and practice their safety plan in case of an actual tornado warning.
