OPD Welcomes New Officer

(Oblong) – The Village of Oblong is welcoming a new police officer. Oblong Mayor, Teresa Fielder, and Oblong Police Chief, Colton Williamson, say they are honored and proud to welcome Officer, Caleb Newman, to the Oblong Police Department. Officer, Newman, is an Oblong native, serves with the Army National Guard, and has most recently worked at the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department. Officer, Newman, was sworn in during a ceremony yesterday.
