(Undated) – There will always be someone trying to make a quick dishonest buck. The Better Business Bureau is reporting that “Sweepstake” scams were at the top of the list in 2023. Employment, Tech Support, Government Agency Imposters, and Bank/Credit Card Company Imposters rounded out the top five. The BBB is reminding the public to stay informed by using their “Scam Tracker.” The “Scam Tracker” was launched several years ago, giving consumers a tool to track the various scams, where they are being practiced, and how much money is being lost.
