(Undated) — Schools across Illinois are making plans for next month’s solar eclipse and Crawford County is no different. According to the county schools, due to concerns about high traffic throughout Crawford County during school dismissal times on April 8th, there will be no classes. County officials are predicting as many as fifteen to twenty-thousand vehicles traveling through the county, twice as much as normal. The conclusion was the increase in traffic could impact bus travel and the availability of response personnel in the case of an emergency.
