(Undated) – The eclipse is fast approaching and experts are warning people to look out for fake eclipse glasses. The American Astronomical Society reminds stargazers to wear approved eclipse glasses for the April 8th event. They say real eclipse glasses are specially made to block almost all visible light, and the AAS warns the market is full of cheap knockoffs that could cause blindness. The society provided a list of reputable makers of eclipse eye protection, for the roughly thirty-two million Americans who will be able to see the total solar eclipse where they live.
