Yesterday Marked the First Anniversary of the Robinson-Sullivan Tornado

(Undated) – One year ago today Crawford County residents could finally begin surveying the damage from the March 31st, 2023 tornado. Yesterday marked the first anniversary of the massive tornado outbreak that impacted the middle of the country. Authorities say there were nearly one-hundred-fifty twisters on March 31st, 2023, including the one that hit Crawford and Sullivan Counties. The recovery and rebuilding efforts continue for many. According to the National Weather Service, the Illinois portion of the “Robinson-Sullivan” tornado was rated as an EF-3 with winds of 165 mph and a width of .66 miles.
