(Undated) – The worst of last night’s stormy weather stayed north of our area. However, we are not out of the woods yet. According to the National Weather Service “Hazardous Weather Outlook,” another round of severe weather is possible throughout the day today with large hail and damaging wind gusts the primary concerns. Also, as a result of the heavy overnight rains, a “Flood Watch” remains in effect through today. The Weather Service is reminding the public that excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are also possible.
