(Oblong) – The Village of Oblong is reminding residents and Village of Oblong property owners, that this Saturday marks the final chance to unload some extra trash. Oblong Mayor, Teresa Fielder, says this Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. is the last chance for free dumpster service at the Oblong Public Works maintenance building at the park. She also says for those with appliances, electronic devices, mowers, refrigerators, and freezers, a recycling event will be held on Saturday, April 13th from 9 a.m. to Noon, or until the trailers are filled, at the Oblong Park.
