NWS Service Issues Flood and Freeze Warning

(Undated) – The recent front that pushed through the area has prompted the National Weather Service to issue a pair of warnings. They say repeated rounds of showers and thunderstorms Monday and Tuesday have prompted a “Flood Warning” for the Wabash River. They have also issued a “Freeze Warning” from midnight tonight to 8 a.m. tomorrow. Temperatures as low as twenty-eight degrees will bring heavy frost and freeze conditions which could kill crops, and other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.
