Flood Warning for the Wabash River Continues

weather-2

(Undated) – The National Weather Service continues to keep an eye on the Wabash River. A “Flood Warning” remains in effect following several days of rainfall last week. They say flooding on the Wabash and White rivers is currently expected to come to an end over the next seven days. However, rainfall over the next ten days that has not yet been fully incorporated into the river forecasts has the potential to impact this expectation, particularly on the Wabash. The “Flood Warning” remains in effect until April 17th. The Wabash River at Hutsonville is expected to rise to a crest of 19.3 feet tomorrow evening and is expected to fall below the flood stage by Tuesday, April 16th.
