(Undated) – Forecasted rains are likely to cause problems along already swollen rivers. According to this morning’s “Hazardous Weather Outlook” from the National Weather Service, recent rains have led to flooding along area rivers. They are currently forecasting the Wabash River at the Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant site to crest today at 20.4 feet. The National Weather Service also says that additional periodic chances for thunderstorms through tomorrow make it difficult to forecast when the river is likely to fall back below flood stage. A “Flood Warning” remains in effect until further notice.
