(Oblong) – A lot of us are doing “spring cleaning” and that includes yard waste. Oblong Mayor, Teresa Fielder, is reminding Village residents the Oblong Public Works Department will pick up your yard waste free of charge. She says all you need to do is call the Oblong Public Works office at 618-592-3122 between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Monday through Friday to be added to the pickup route.
