Sheriff Rutan Reminds Drivers to Stay Safe During Spring Planting

(Undated) – State, county, and local authorities are reminding motorists it is “spring planting” time. Farmers are getting into the fields and that means an increase in farm equipment on area roads. Motorists are reminded to exercise due caution while traveling. Crawford County Sheriff, Bill Rutan, is reminding the public to pay attention and not drive distracted, pass with caution, slow down when approaching a slow-moving vehicle, allow extra room when following farm equipment, and if you cannot see the driver, the driver cannot see you. Rutan says we all need to do our part to make it a safe planting season.
