Thunderstorms Bring Cooler Temperatures

weather-2

(Undated) – Last night’s thunderstorms brought wind, rain, lightning, and much cooler temperatures. While there have been some reports of downed trees and limbs the most significant thing to come out of last night’s storms might be the cooler temperatures. According to this morning’s forecast from the National Weather Service, the daytime highs through the weekend and into early next week will be in the upper 50s to low 60s. They are also reporting continued flooding along the Wabash River. The river at the Hutsonville Legacy Power Station is expected to fall below flood stage on Thursday, April 25th. A “Flood Warning” remains in effect until a week from today.
