Mill and Resurfacing Project Begins May 13th

(Robinson) – A couple of upcoming construction projects in the City of Robinson could cause traffic delays. According to City Engineer, Jeff Hillard, the Illinois Department of Transportation will begin a “mill and resurfacing” project on the West edge of town from the City limits to Park Forest just past Arby’s. Hillard says this project will happen “under traffic” with flaggers. He says the tentative start date is May 13th and weather permitting the project will wrap up by June. Hillard says at the same time the City of Robinson Street Department will begin work on the Lincoln Bridge. Hillard says that the project will have the bridge closed until probably September.
