(Hutsonville) – It’s the season for mosquitoes, especially for those living along the Wabash River. The Village of Hutsonville has announced that spraying for mosquitoes is set to begin on May 20th. According to the Illinois Department of Public Health, although spraying will reduce the local mosquito population for a few days, fogging does not prevent mosquitoes from re-entering the area. The IDPH says individuals should always use personal protection when mosquitoes are present. To learn more find the link with this story at WTYEfm.com.
