(Robinson) – The City of Robinson has announced that the Civic Center will be closed for the weekend. According to Robinson Mayor, Mike Shimer, the Robinson Civic Center will be closed to the public beginning today, as crews perform electrical updates to the building. Shimer says phone lines will also be down during this time. He says they will only be open for the bid openings of “Sludge Hauling,” “Smith Lift Station,” and the demolition of 201 North Jackson. Shimer says they will reopen to the public on Monday.
