(Flora, IL) – A Flora man has been arrested and charged with two counts of Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault of a Child. According to the Illinois State Police, on April 11th, 2024, ISP was requested by the Flora Police Department to investigate an alleged Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault of a Child which occurred in May of 2021 in Clay County. The ISP says after a thorough investigation, agents presented the findings to the Clay County State’s Attorney, and on Monday twenty-six-year-old Braxton Allen was taken into custody and charged with two counts of Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault of a Child a Class X Felony. Allen was transported to the Clay County Jail where he remains in custody with no bond.
