(Oblong) – The Oblong Unit 4 Board is set to meet this evening. In Old Business, the Unit 4 board will approve the final 2023-2024 school calendar, the tentative 2023-2024 amended budget and set a hearing date for June 20th, and move the June 17th board meeting to June 20th. In “New Business,” the Unit 4 Board will authorize the Bookkeeper and Superintendent to prepare the 2024-2025 budget, hear from the Oblong Music Boosters, discuss and approve a pair of FFA trip requests, and discuss and take action on dissolving the OPH Cross Country Tri-Op. In other business, the board will look ahead to Prom 2025, discuss and approve OHS Baseball summer schedule, and OHS Football 5 on 5 request. The Oblong Unit 4 Board meets this evening at 6 p.m. in the Oblong Room of the Grade School.
