Sheriff’s Department Looking for Help

(Undated) – If you are looking for a career change the Sheriff’s Department may be the answer. According to Crawford County Sheriff, Bill Rutan, the department is currently accepting applications for Full-Time and Part-Time correctional and court security officers. Rutan says those hired will be a commissioned officer who will perform corrections and court security duties in Crawford County. Applications may be picked up at the Sheriff’s Office at 203 S. Jefferson, the County Clerk’s office, or can be printed from the county’s website at crawfordcountyil.org under the “sheriff” tab. The application deadline is June 17th by 4 p.m.
