(Oblong) – The Oblong Village Board meets this afternoon and they have a handful of items on the agenda. The Village Board will hear from Nick Hinterscher regarding the July Car Show, approve the Park Meadow Phase II Street pay estimate, and accept the OSLAD Grant bid. In other business, the Village Board will hear from Taegan Garner from the Greater Wabash Regional Planning Commission regarding the “Rebuild Downtown” grant and Angie Catt from the Oblong Chamber of Commerce. The board is also set to vote on TIF Grant and Revolving Loan applications, discuss the codebook for “hobby animals, and review the ordinance for storage containers and yard barns. The Oblong Village Board meets today at 5 p.m. in the Farley Room of the Oblong Municipal Building.
