(Undated) – Gas prices continue to trend lower as we head into the weekend. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is currently $3.47 a gallon, nine cents lower than a week ago and a nickel lower than a year ago. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $3.82 a gallon, down fourteen cents from last week and seven cents lower than last year. Across the Wabash in Indiana, drivers are paying $3.36 a gallon, seventeen cents lower than last Friday and fifteen cents lower than last year. Oklahoma currently has the lowest statewide average at $2.93 a gallon. While drivers in California are paying the most at $4.93 a gallon.
