Gas Prices are Trending Lower

(Undated) – Gas prices continue to trend lower headed into the weekend. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.46 a gallon, down a penny from a week ago. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $3.73 a gallon, down nine cents from a week ago. However, across the river in Indiana, the statewide average is a dime higher than a week ago hovering around $3.46 a gallon. Mississippi drivers are paying the lowest price in the nation with an average of $2.89 a gallon. California drivers are paying $4.82 a gallon.
