(Undated) – The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded remains unchanged from a week ago. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the current national average is $3.41 a gallon. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $3.72 a gallon, down four cents from a week ago. In Indiana, the statewide average is $3.43, twelve cents higher than a week ago. Mississippi has the lowest statewide average at $2.87 a gallon and California drivers are paying the highest average at $4.78, down eight cents from last Monday.
