(Undated) – Gas prices continue to fluctuate as we head into the first official weekend of summer. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.46 a gallon, unchanged from a week ago. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $3.83 a gallon, up a dime from a week ago. Across the river in Indiana, the statewide average is nine cents higher than a week ago, hovering around $3.55 a gallon. Mississippi drivers are paying the lowest price in the nation with an average of $2.91 a gallon. California drivers are paying $4.78 a gallon.
