“Water Surge” Causes Discolored Water in Oblong

(Oblong) — The Village of Oblong is alerting water customers to the possibility of discolored water. Oblong Mayor, Teresa Fielder, says this is nothing to be alarmed about. She says a “water surge” took place yesterday with some work being done on East Wisconsin Street which disrupts the flow and can cause discoloration. Fielder says the water will clear up, just let it run and cycle through and there is no boil order.
