(Undated) – An Indiana man was taken to CMH Friday morning following a “single-vehicle accident.” According to Crawford County Sheriff, Bill Rutan, Deputies responded to the accident at around 11:36 a.m. on IL Route 1 near County Road 1550 North in Hutsonville Township. Deputies report that sixty-five-year-old Ricky Harms of Farmersburg, driving a 2003 Honda VTX motorcycle went off the roadway due to unknown reasons colliding with a fence and causing “disabling damage” to the motorcycle. More than fifteen hundred dollars in damage was reported. The motorcycle was towed from the scene. United Lifecare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene and transported Harms to the Crawford Memorial Hospital.
