Traffic Stop Lands Oblong Man Behind Bars

(Undated) – A Friday traffic stop in Oblong led to the arrest of a pair of Robinson men. According to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department, at around 5:30 p.m. following a traffic stop at the Oblong Dollar General, deputies arrested Robert Brown for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. During the same traffic stop, Matthew Watson was arrested for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, Driving While License Suspended, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Both men were booked into the Crawford County Jail awaiting a detainment hearing.
