What is the plot of The Judge From Hell?
The Judge From Hell follows Bit-na, a controversial judge known for meting out light sentences to criminals despite facing massive disapproval from the public. Unbeknownst to the rest of the world, Bit-na is possessed by a demon whose mission is to find and drag ten criminals back to hell. However, her mission is made complicated after meeting detective Da-on, who she begins to develop romantic feelings for.
Who will star in the upcoming Disney+ series?
Doctor Slump actress Park Shin-hye will star as the show’s titular judge, Bit-na, while detective Da-on will be played by Love in Contract star Kim Jae-yeong. Other members of the show’s supporting cast also include Parasyte’s Kim In-kwon, Welcome to Samdal-ri’s Kim A-young and Lee Gyu-han, who most recently starred in Longing For You in 2023.
The Judge From Hell is written by Jo I-su, who worked on the 2018 miniseries The Hymn of Death, and directed by Park Jin-pyo (Brave Citizen, Love Forecast).

The teaser trailer, clocking in at 30 seconds long, begins with demonic imagery of moving marble statues that seem to be writhing in pain, before the camera pans out to reveal that they belong to Bit-na’s courtroom, as otherworldly plants grow and a hint of purple flashes across her eyes.
