Authorities Lift Countywide Burn Ban

(Undated) – Crawford County authorities have lifted the recent burn ban. According to Crawford County Sheriff, Bill Rutan, after consulting with various fire chiefs, it has been decided to cancel the current county-wide burn ban for now. Officials say we have received enough recent rainfall to allow the lift of this ban. However, the public is still being asked to be careful with any outdoor fires.
