National Average Gas Price Remains Above $3 Mark

(Undated) – The national average has fallen two cents from a week ago. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.03 a gallon. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $3.22 a gallon, six cents higher than a week ago. Across the river in Indiana, the statewide average is $3.09 a gallon, a fifteen-cent jump from a week ago. Oklahoma has the lowest prices in the nation at $2.42 a gallon, down six cents from a week ago. California has the highest statewide average at $4.33, eight cents lower than last Friday.
