(Undated) – The Open Enrollment for the “Get Covered Illinois Health Insurance Marketplace” deadline is tomorrow. If you are an Illinois resident and do not have health insurance or are currently enrolled in a health plan through Healthcare.gov and want to renew or change your existing plan, you are eligible. Coverage for individuals who enroll by tomorrow’s deadline will begin on February 1st. Illinoisans can still enroll in coverage after Open Enrollment ends if they have a qualifying life event, including losing job-based coverage, getting married, and having a child. Financial assistance is available for qualified consumers who buy their health coverage at GetCoveredIllinois.gov.
