Palestine Development Association to Host Candidate Forum

(Undated) — The Consolidated Election is just a few weeks away, and the Mayoral race in Palestine is crowded. The Palestine Development Association will host a “Mayoral Candidates Forum” at the Fife Opera House. According to event organizers, the candidates invited to attend are Presley Harris, the only candidate printed on the ballot, as well as write-in candidates Rob Byrley, David Woods, and Scott Campbell. Candidates will be asked questions selected by a committee gathered from “questionnaire boxes” throughout Palestine, and no questions will be taken from the audience. The “Mayoral Candidates Forum” will be held Monday at 6 p.m. in the upstairs portion of the Fife Opera House on Main Street in Palestine. There is a chair lift available for anyone unable to climb stairs. The Consolidated Election in April 1st.
