Lady Maroons Softball Team Falls in 8 Innings

(Robinson) — The RHS Lady Maroons Softball Team fell 8-6 in eight innings to Edwards County yesterday. Eva Herman took the loss from the mound, pitching all eight innings, surrendering eight runs on eight hits, striking out nine, and walking four. At the plate, Herman led the Lady Maroons with two runs batted in, going two for five on the day, including one home run. With the loss, the girls fall to 11-9 on the season. They are slated to be back in action today for a road contest at Charleston. First pitch is set for 4:30 p.m.
