Lady Maroons Walk-off Edwards County

(Robinson) — The RHS Lady Maroons picked up a dramatic “walk-off” 1-0 win over Edwards County yesterday. The contest was tied at zero in the bottom of the 7th when Avery Strauch hit a solo blast to right field for the win. Eva Herman earned the victory from the mound, pitching all seven innings, giving up five hits, and striking out nine. With the win, the Lady Maroons improve to 16-12 on the season. They are 3-3 in the LIC and will be back in action tonight for a road game against Mt. Carmel. First pitch is set for 5:30 p.m.
