Gas Prices Fall Over Weekend

(Undated) — The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded fell over the weekend. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.15 a gallon, down four cents from Friday. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $3.35 a gallon, also down four cents from Friday. Across the Wabash in Indiana, the statewide average is also four cents below Friday’s average at $3.17 a gallon. Mississippi has the lowest average in the country at $2.63 a gallon, a two-cent drop from Friday. Meanwhile, California has the highest average at $4.86 a gallon, down four cents over the weekend.
