Don’t Forget the Sunscreen This Summer

By Tony Collins May 23, 2025 | 6:38 AM

(Undated) – This weekend marks the beginning of “summer,” and for many, that means more time outside in the sun. Crawford Memorial Hospital is reminding the public to be generous when applying sunscreen. They say most adults need about one ounce of sunscreen to fully cover their bodies. They say you should apply sunscreen to dry skin fifteen minutes before going outside and reapply an ounce, or the equivalent of a shot glass, every two hours if you are in direct sunlight.
