Kang Daniel has announced a new mini-album, ‘Glow To Haze’ – find out more below.
Over the weekend, the South Korean musician took to social media to announce the upcoming project, which is due to arrive in June. The EP, titled ‘Glow To Haze’, will be his sixth, and is scheduled for release on June 16.
To accompany the announcement of ‘Glow To Haze’, Kang Daniel has also shared an “exhibit intro” film, which appears to depict the outside of a museum that’s decked out to promote the upcoming EP.
Check out the announcement below.
The EP’s announcement comes just days after the conclusion of his European ‘ACT’ tour, which saw him perform in London, Paris, Hamburg and Warsaw between May 7 and May 13.
Kang’s European run was in support of his fifth EP, also titled ‘ACT’, in September 2024 led by the single ‘Electric Shock’. The record marked his first music under new agency Artistic Round Alliance.
Prior to this, Kang had been active under his own agency KONNECT Entertainment since 2019. In May last year, it was made public that Kang had filed a police report against a major shareholder on suspicions of embezzlement and breach of trust. In June, the singer officially announced the company’s shutdown: “Though it is unfortunate and regrettable to conclude this journey with such bad news, I will continue to work diligently and quietly as I have always done.”
He also assured fans that the agency’s shuttering did not mean the end of his activities as a singer in the industry. “I will continue to be with you as Kang Daniel,” he added. “I will try to bring you good news as soon as possible, so don’t worry too much and make sure to take care of yourselves.”
